| 8: Activities, publications etc. | Fortnightly lecture from September to July. Alternate weeks, afternoon talks. |
| 9: Refreshments | Refreshments served on various occasions. Members may make tea or coffee at any time. Regular Wednesday coffee mornings. Monthly light lunches through Autumn and Winter. |
| 10: Visitors / Researchers | Large amount of research work. Visitors allowed on request. |
| 11: Background information | The library has roughly 3,500 books and some archival material. We concentrate on local studies and pride ourselves on a good selection of antiquarian and new books. |
| 12: Collections | Complete volumes of Plymouth Institution and Plymouth Athenaeum Proceedings. Proceedings of Devonshire Association, Doidges Annuals. Western Antiquary - not complete. |
| 13: Building | Built 1961 to replace the original Athenaeum destroyed by the Blitz. The library is small and has a storage balcony. |
