11: Background information The library has roughly 3,500 books and some archival material. We concentrate on local studies and pride ourselves on a good selection of antiquarian and new books.
12: Collections Complete volumes of Plymouth Institution and Plymouth Athenaeum Proceedings. Proceedings of Devonshire Association, Doidges Annuals. Western Antiquary - not complete.
13: Building Built 1961 to replace the original Athenaeum destroyed by the Blitz. The library is small and has a storage balcony.
